Ingredients:
24 3” round sugar cookies, lightly baked so they are not crispy
2 Pouches Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White
1 Bottle Cake Mate® Valentine Nonpareils
1 Bottle Cake Mate® Valentine Hearts
Instructions:
STEP 1 Bake your favorite rolled sugar cookies, cut with 3” round cookie cutter.
STEP 2 Let cookies cool completely.
STEP 3 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in white, pipe a layer of icing on the baked side of 12 cookies.
STEP 4 Place remaining 12 cookies on top of the layer of icing. Press the top cookie down gently, but with enough pressure to ensure the icing goes to the edge of the cookies.
STEP 5 Empty each bottle of sprinkles into its own shallow dish.
STEP 6 Roll half the cookie sandwiches in the Valentine nonpareils and the other half in the Valentine Sprinkles.
