Ingredients:

12 popcorn box shaped sugar cookies

White Cake Mate® Cookie Icing

Red Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch

White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch

Yellow Cake Mate® Tube Icing

1 Bottle Cake Mate® White Decorating Sugars

Instructions:

STEP 1  Bake 12 of your favorite popcorn shaped sugar cookies. Achieve the popcorn shape by using a cupcake shaped cookie cutter to start, then trim a tiny bit off the sides to create the box shape.

STEP 2  Let cookies cool completely.

STEP 3  Carefully pipe a thin border around the sugar cookie edges with the white cookie icing. Let the icing border partially dry for about 2 minutes.

STEP 4  Once the border has set, carefully fill in the popcorn shape with the cookie icing.  

STEP 5  Once the cookie icing has dried completely, attach the #12 decorating tip to the White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch. Create a variety of small dots on the top of the cookie to create white popcorn kernels.

STEP 6  Clean and attach the #12 decorating tip to the Yellow Cake Mate® Tube Icing. Create a variety of small yellow dots at the top of the cookie to create buttery popcorn kernels.

STEP 7  Attach the #3 decorating tip to the Red Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch. Carefully pipe a few thin lines just below the yellow and white popcorn kernels to the bottom of the cookie to create the popcorn box.

STEP 8  Sprinkle Cake Mate® White Decorating Sugars on top of the popcorn kernels for a touch of sparkle.
