Ingredients:

1 box of any Cake Mix

Ingredients called for on Cake Mix Box

6 ½ cups White Buttercream Icing

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Red

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Blue

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Pink

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Green

1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips

1 package Cake Mate® Happy Birthday Candles

Instructions:

STEP 1 Prepare cake mix according to the box instructions.

STEP 2 Using 8-inch pans, bake 2 cake layers following the directions on the cake mix box.

STEP 3 Let cakes cool completely.

STEP 4 Assemble the 2-layer cake using the white buttercream icing between the layers and to cover the outside of the cake.

EXPERT TIP: Apply a thin layer of icing to crumb coat your cake before finishing the outer icing coat. Chill cake between crumb coat and finishing coat.

STEP 5 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Blue, attach Cake Mate® tip #5 to pipe the bottom row of polka dots.

STEP 6 repeat STEP 5 using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Green, then Pink, then Red.

STEP 7 Place Cake Mate® Happy Birthday Candles on the top of the cake.
