Instructions:

STEP 1 Prepare cake mix according to the box instructions.

STEP 2 Using 12 baking cups, line a muffin pan and bake cupcakes following the directions on the cake mix box.

STEP 3 Let cupcakes cool completely.

STEP 4 Fit the writing tip to the Cake Mate® Peppermint Candy Cane Cupcake Icing, pipe a single layer of icing one each cupcake.

STEP 5 Sprinkle each cupcake with the crushed peppermint candy pieces.

STEP 6 Pipe the remaining peppermint icing on each cupcake, forming a peak.

STEP 7 Sprinkle the very top of each cupcake with the crushed peppermint candy pieces.
