Ingredients:
12 XL squirrel shaped sugar cookies
2 Pouches Cake Mate® Cookie Icing in Chocolate
1 Bottle Cake Mate® Chocolate Sprinkles
Instructions:
STEP 1 Bake your favorite rolled sugar cookies, cut with an XL squirrel cookie cutter. We used a 4.9” squirrel cookie cutter.
STEP 2 Let cookies cool completely.
STEP 3 Carefully draw a tail on each of the sugar cookies with Cake Mate® Chocolate Cookie Icing. Before the icing dries, coat tails with chocolate sprinkles. Allow icing to set before adding the next layer of icing.
STEP 4 Outline then fill-in the remainder of the squirrel body using Cake Mate® Cookie Icing in.
EXPERT TIP: Snip 1 cookie icing pouch at the smallest opening and use to outline the shapes. Snip the 2nd pouch at the large opening for flooding.
STEP 5 Allow cookies to set at least 1 hour before serving.
