1 box of Yellow Cake Mix
Ingredients called for on Cake Mix Box
1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White
1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Pink
1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips
1 Bottle Cake Mate® Pearls
1 Package Cake Mate® Metallic Pink Bake Cups
Instructions:
STEP 1 Prepare cake mix according to the box instructions.
STEP 2 Using 12 Cake Mate® Metallic Pink Baking Cups, line a muffin pan and bake cupcakes following the directions on the cake mix box.
STEP 3 Let cupcakes cool completely.
STEP 4 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White or Pink, attach Cake Mate® tips to pipe the icing base. We used #97, #104, #18, #2D and #12 to create different styles.
STEP 5 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White or Pink, attach Cake Mate® tips to pipe the icing top in the color opposite from the base color. We used #18, #2D and #12 to create different styles.
STEP 6 Decorate piped icing with Cake Mate® Pearls.
EXPERT TIP Use tweezers to place pearls with precision.
