Ingredients:

12 shaped sugar cookies

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Cookie Icing in White

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Cookie Icing in Red

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in Red

1 Pkg Cake Mate® Decorating Tips

1 Bottle of Cake Mate® Classic Pearls

1 Bottle of Cake Mate® Silver Shimmer Sugar

1 Bottle of Cake Mate® White Shimmer Sugar

Instructions:

STEP 1 Bake 12 of your favorite rolled sugar cookies.

STEP 2 Let cookies cool completely.

STEP 3 Carefully decorate the sugar cookies with Cake Mate® White and Red Cookie Icing. Before the icing dries, top with sugar or pearls. Allow icing to set before adding the next layer of icing.

STEP 4 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in white and then in red, attach Cake Mate® tip #3 to create the designs on some of the ornaments.

EXPERT TIP: Wash tips thoroughly between uses to avoid icing color contamination.

STEP 5 Using Cake Mate® Cookie Icing in white and red, create the designs on some of the ornaments.

EXPERT TIP: To make the cookie icing swirl, place a small dot of red cookie icing inside a larger dot of white. Then drag a toothpick through the dots to create the swirl.

STEP 6 Allow cookies to set at least 1 hour before serving.
