Black and White Ruffle Cupcakes

Ingredients:

1 box of your favorite cake mix

White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch

Black Cake Mate® Tube Icing

1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips

1 Package Cake Mate® Metallic Pink Baking Cups

Instructions:

STEP 1  Bake cupcakes using Cake Mate® Metallic Pink Baking Cups. Let cupcakes cool completely.

STEP 2  Attach a #97 icing tip to both the black icing and white decorating icing pouch.

STEP 3  Hold the black icing tube at a 45° angle with the wide end of the tip lightly touching the surface. Glide your icing with steady pressure moving your wrist up and down.

STEP 4  To release, touch your icing tip to the surface of the cupcake, stop, and pull away.

STEP 5  With the white icing, make a smaller circle using the same technique.

STEP 6  Repeat making alternate colored circles until the entire surface of the cupcake is decorated.
