Ingredients:

2 boxes of your favorite cake mix

1 small heart shaped sugar cookie

1 medium heart shaped sugar cookie

White Cake Mate® Cookie Icing

Red Cake Mate® Cookie Icing

1 White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch

1 Bottle Cake Mate® Valentine Nonpareils

1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips

Instructions:

STEP 1  Bake and assemble two round cakes, creating a plain two layer cake.

STEP 2  Using White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch, cover the entire two layer cake with white icing.

STEP 3  Using White Cake Mate® Decorating Icing Pouch fastened with the open star tip, create a large star border along the bottom layer of the cake.

STEP 4  Cover the entire top of the cake with Cake Mate® Valentine Nonpareils.

STEP 5  Carefully ice the sugar cookies with cookie icing. Let the cookie icing dry completely.

STEP 6  Once the cookie icing has thoroughly dried, place the two cookies on top of the cake at the center.

STEP 7  To finish, carefully place one red Valentine Nonpareil on each star along the bottom border of the cake.
