Pumpkin Spice Cake Shots

Ingredients:

1 box of spice cake mix

Ingredients called for on cake mix box

2 Cans Cake Mate® Cupcake Frosting in Pumpkin Spice

1 Pouch Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White

1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips

1 Bottle Cake Mate® Gold Shimmer Sugar

12 Large Shot Glasses or Small Juice Glasses

Instructions:

STEP 1 Prepare cake mix according to the box instructions.

STEP 2 Using a jelly roll pan, pour batter into pan, spreading to corners. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately loosen cake from sides of pan and turn upside down onto parchment paper.

STEP 3 Using a cookie or biscuit cutter that matches the size of your glass, cut 24 discs of cake from the cake sheet.

STEP 4 Place 1 cake disc in the bottom of each glass.

STEP 5 Using Cake Mate® Pumpkin Spice Cupcake Frosting, attach the star tip to pipe a ruffled layer of icing.

STEP 6 Place 1 cake disc on top of the icing layer.

STEP 7 Using Cake Mate® Pumpkin Spice Cupcake Frosting, pipe a 2nd ruffled layer of icing.

STEP 8 Using Cake Mate® Decorating Icing in White, attach Cake Mate® tip #2D to pipe the top decoration.

STEP 9 Sprinkle Cake Mate® Gold Shimmer Sugar on top for a touch of sparkle.
